Multi-stakeholder collaboration is a strategic option to ensure the provision of basic services for poor women and marginalized groups. The Institut KAPAL Perempuan in collaboration with PEKA PM (Educational Association for Strengthening Women Leadership and Community) has chosen multi-stakeholder collaboration in implementing the INKLUSI Program, especially in Kupang Regency. PEKA PM started this collaborative work with the Population and Civil Registration Service (Disdukcapil) and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (Employees Social Security System) which was carried out at the Dusun 1 Multipurpose Building, Tanah Merah Village, Kupang Regency on July 20th 2022.<\/p>\n
This collaborative socialization has the theme “The Importance of Social Protection with a Gender-Inclusion Perspective, Data-Based and Population Administration that is Easy and Affordable for All”. The objectives of the activity are: 1) to follow up on the results of data collection on complaints about legal identity services, child marriage, sexual violence, education and other women’s issues at the Sekolah Perempuan Complaint Post; 2) appreciate the hard work of all parties who have provided data and government parties who support and process data from data collection results for realization. This socialization was attended by 65 people consisting of 54 women and 11 men, representatives from people with disabilities, Sekolah Perempuan, the Village Government, Village officials, and the Tanah Merah Village BPD (village government agency).<\/p>\n
In this activity, Disdukcapil (civil registration population service) socializes population identity document management services that are easily accessible to the public. There are two programs that have been created in 2021, namely the RECEP (Quick Response) Program and the JEBOL (Pick Up the Ball) Program.<\/p>\n
RECEP program to serve special population administration for people with disabilities and the elderly. There are 10 members of the RECEP Team that has been formed by Disdukcapil, two of whom are members of Sekolah Perempuan. Meanwhile, the JEBOL program is to serve the general public, especially the poor. The service model is that the RECEP and JEBOL teams come to villages to obtain data on residents who do not yet have population documents and then process it so that residents do not need to go to the sub-district or district government offices. The processing is also done quickly.<\/p>\n
Providing this service requires data on residents, poor women, people with disabilities and the elderly who have difficulty accessing services. In this case, the role of Sekolah Perempuan Complaint Post is very important because it has received complaints from residents. For this reason, Disdukcapil included members of Sekolah Perempuan Complaints Post into the RECEP and JEBOL Teams. On this occasion, Disdukcapil also handed over Child Identity Cards (KIA) and Family Cards (KK) to socialization participants. The identity card is the result of a proposal from Sekolah Perempuan Complaints Post and PEKA PM, which has been submitted to Disdukcapil.<\/p>\n
In this activity, BPJS socialized the Employment Guarantee (JKK) and Death Guarantee (JKM) programs. Through this outreach, 21 people will register to become participants in the JKK and JKM programs by paying IDR 16,800 every month. This indicates that there is awareness among citizens to protect themselves by taking advantage of the available social security programs.<\/p>\n
The collaborative work of all parties developed by PEKA PM has built public awareness to care about themselves as citizens and the government is open to providing inclusive services based on the needs of its citizens. In the end, it is hoped that this collaborative work will become a joint movement to bring services closer to all residents, especially those who are poor and have limited access.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
