Halima is a female head of a family who lives on Sakuala Island. She works as a crab net tailor and is only paid IDR 3,000 – 10,000 in one stretch which is carried out for 3-4 weeks.

From April 2020-June 2021, Prof. Saparinah Sadli provides food support and daily necessities for the elderly on Saugi Island, Kulambing Island, Sabutung Island, Satando Island, Sapuli Island, Banko-Bangkoang Island, Salemo Island, Sagara Island, Sabangko Island, and Sakuala Island in Pangkajene and Islands Regency, South Sulawesi.

This aid is provided periodically every month to the elderly and families who have children with disabilities. This periodic aid is very helpful for elderly people who experience difficulties in fulfilling their daily food requirements. The recipients of this aid looked radiant when they received basic commodities and cash. There were 60 elderly people who were successfully reached through the assistance distributed by the Institut KAPAL Perempuan in collaboration with YKPM by Nurhayati and Rosniati.
